When the Japanese Association of Singapore’s (JAS) Summer Festival was looking to open its doors officially to cosplayers for the first time on September 2018 at the National Stadium, Magika was engaged to help facilitate the registration of cosplayers who wished to attend the event in costume.

Hokuriku Ken with SPORTS+TRAVEL Singapore

Mr Yusuf bin Abdol Hamid (Pictured left in the photo), SPORTS+TRAVEL Magazine’s photojournalist, giving a short presentation on his trip to the Toyama Prefecture at JR Cafe’s Autumn in the Train festival.

When Hokuriku Ken, a region in Japan, wanted to promote tourism within their region in Singapore, Magika was engaged to identify and liaise with a suitable local partner. The engagement let to a trip for Mr Yusuf bin Abdol Hamid, a photo-journalist from Singapore’s SPORTS + TRAVEL magazine, through the Toyama Prefecture, and culminated in a presentation of his journey at JR Cafe’s Autumn in the Train Festival in Tanjong Pagar on October 2018 soon after (picture above), and an advertorial in the magazine in November.
